Stage One: Ready to Go!

All of a sudden, through tinkering here and there with a few things in the evenings, checking out some rogue references, and doing a lot of thinking, I discover that I have a completed, checked prologue, the first three chapters in tip-top shape, and a covering letter with a gripping synopsis ready to go to a literary agent.  I'll be sending it off on Monday...I can't quite believe I'm here.
